ESJH Students Win Awards, Office
at State Technology Conference

Several students from East St. John High’s Technology Student Association (TSA) recently won honors at the Louisiana TSA State Conference in a variety of competitions:

  • Radio-Controlled Transportation Team – Nairobi Dennis and Corionne Eugene, 2nd place.
  • Career Comparisons – Nairobi Dennis, 1st place; and Mark Crocklen, 3rd place.
  • Safety Poster – Darius Smith, 1st place; Kristie Williams, 2nd place; and Nicholas Weinert, 3rd place.
  • Flight Endurance – Nicholas Weinert, 1st place.
  • Extemporaneous Speech – Corionne Eugene, 1st place; D’Lisa Jackson and Kristie Williams, 2nd place; and Keith Gonzales, 3rd place.
  • Technology Problem Solving Team – D’Lisa Jackson and Darius Smith, 1st place; Keith Gonzales and mark Crocklen, 2nd place; and Devanny Lee and Cardell Eugene, 3rd place.
  • T-Shirt Design – Kristie Williams and Nairobi Dennis, 1st place; and Corionne Eugene, 2nd place.

Two ESJH students were also elected to serve as officers of LTSA – Devanny Lee will serve as State Secretary and Phallon Schnyder will serve as State President.  They will represent the association this summer at a LTSA workshop in Lafayette, La.
