School System’s Business Director Awarded
Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting
St. John the Baptist Parish Executive Director of Business and Finance Felix Boughton has been awarded a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting, on behalf of the school system, from the Government Finance Officers Association.
This is the 16th consecutive year that St. John the Baptist Parish Schools has received this award.
Boughton noted that the Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in governmental accounting and financial reporting, and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment by a government and its management.
St. John the Baptist Parish Executive Director of Business and Finance Felix Boughton receives an award from School Board President Dr. Gerald J. Keller in recognition of his office’s 16th consecutive awarding of the Government Finance Officers Association’s top award.
