East St. John High Announces the School’s
Largest Football Recruiting Classes
Eight football seniors from East St. John High School announced this week they will pursue playing their sport at the collegiate level next year. This is the largest number of student-athletes from a single high school class to be accepted to play for a collegiate team.
The following students signed agreements to go to the following institutions:
- Patrick Lewis, OL – Texas A&M University, Texas
- Alex Singleton, RB – University of Tulsa, Oklahoma
- Alvin Scioneaux, LB – Wofford University, South Carolina
- Romelle Jones, DL – University of South Alabama, Alabama
- Bryson James, LB – University of South Alabama, Alabama
- Torri Zeno, DB – College of the Canyons, California (Jr. College)
- Andre Millet, WR – College of the Canyons, California (Jr. College)
- Mark Lagrande, LB – College of the Canyons, California (Jr. College)
The East St. John High Wildcats advanced their 2008-2009 season to the first round of the play-offs.
